"I am strange. But I cannot do anything about it. I am born like that"
Across the stars
I am writing this entry while listening to "Across the Stars" from John Williams. I guess you know it or not. It's from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It's the love-theme of that movie. It's one of the best Star Wars-songs. The best one ofcourse is "Duel of the Fates" followed by "The Imperial March", but after that nothing can beat "Across the Stars", you really get a certain idea from that. It's really beautifull, with a mixture of a but action. But mainly it's really a love-theme. And if you watch the movie, even if you don't know the song you should immediatly reconigze it. It's just...special. It can go on and on in my head. And I don't know about others. But it's also a song you can easily repeat by yourself, just because the tune is so "catching". Towards the end it's getting better and better. I already liked John Williams before that. (Because of "Duel of the Fates ofcourse). But I think this proves how good he really is. I think it's rightfull to name him in one sentence with for example another great artist Ennio Morricone. There is one other, but I forgot his name, but he's also pretty good. I forgot it. If anyone knows feel free to enlight me. But really there is no such beter composer then John Williams in my eyes. Since I am listening to "Good to know you" from Gem now I should really quit, else I need to chance the title of this entry
